This bag has some good design ideas, and some poor ones. I love the idea of access to the open area (sandwiched between the two zippered compartments). It''''s a perfect place for cell phone and keys. But the Velcro does NOT hold the open compartment closed. And because the handle is attached to the back wall of the bag, the weight of the contents make the bag lop-sided when you hold it by the handle. The bag slips onto the shoulders very easily, and the bag northfacebackpack rides very comfortably on your back. Someday these bag designers are going to remember to attach the handles at the center of the bag, but as the size of the bag is perfect, I''''ve got my local cobbler designing a fix for the Velcro problem. And I''''ll live northfacebackpack with the weight and balance problem, because obviously, most of the time northfacebackpack the bag is either on my back or on my shoulder.

I like northfacebackpack it better than the one my company gave me, and I carry it all the time. Oh yeah, and its cheaper than most other bags but still twice as good. Ok, I''''m biased because I work for the company, but I love the eCrew line. I use the tote as a computer briefcase every day, and it is perfect. I use a computer sleeve to protect my laptop, which is not included but you can buy one (search for computer sleeve).

The feel and look of the leather on this bag is terrific, as is the construction. I love the way it is organized and I can always find whatever I want in the bag. The design is good looking and all the hardware is attractive. My only complaint is the Velcro closure between the front and rear compartments. It does not stay northfacebackpack closed. I will need to have this bag northfacebackpack repaired/modified in order to wear it with confidence that my cell phone and glasses won''''t fall out! I travel monthly and the Perlina backpack bag I was using wasn''''t big enough for my trips-this bag is. I just got back and am pleased to say that everything fit just fine-glasses-three pairs, keys, wallet, lipsticks, 2 small books, etc. I really like THIS bag (and northfacebackpack I''''ve tried many!) It''''s roomy; its deep; it has a section for my phone; it has credit card slots; it even has a small leather.
